Legacy Scholarship & Academic Support Program

Program Overview
The Legacy Premier Foundation Scholarship & Academic Support Program is designed to empower students by providing financial assistance, academic resources, and mentorship to ensure their success in higher education and beyond. The program targets students who demonstrate academic potential, leadership qualities, community service, and financial need.
Objectives

1. Support underrepresented and underserved students in accessing higher education.
2. Encourage academic excellence and leadership development.
3. Provide holistic support, including mentorship, career readiness, and tutoring.
4. Build a pipeline of future leaders who will give back to their communities.

Eligibility Requirements​
​Applicants must:

• Be enrolled as a freshman, undergraduate, and graduate student.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Demonstrate financial need (FAFSA or other documentation may be requested).
• Be actively involved in community service, extracurricular activities, or leadership roles.
• Submit a completed application with all required documents by the deadline.

Application Requirements

1. Completed Application Form (Apply here).
2. Personal Statement/Essay (500–750 words) answering:
   • What are your academic and career goals?
   • How have you contributed to your community?
   • How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?
3. Official or Unofficial Transcript.
4. One Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, counselor, mentor, or employer.
5. Resume highlighting academic, extracurricular, and volunteer experiences.
6. Proof of Enrollment/Acceptance (for graduating high school seniors, college sophomores, juniors, seniors).

A selection committee of Legacy Premier Foundation staff reviews applications.
